My Holiday Kick-Off Series

 

Merry Holidays Everyone….

It’s about that time of the year, Holiday Aroma is in the air ….can you smell it?, smells delicious doesn’t it?, Yep time for the jingle of bells, the glistening of shining lights, the baking of cookies and the singing of carols.

Time to pull out the Christmas decorations,  and to start off my holiday season while I’m decorating I always love to listen to Christmas music and here are my ten favorites:

Rocking around the  Christmas Tree  by: Brenda Lee – This one here has an upbeat tempo, so I definitely can get turned up.

Santa Baby – by: Eartha Kitt – This song here is so sexy….”Slip a Sable under the tree for me”, “been an awful good girl”, she’s also asking for a “54′ convertible too, light blue”,        …Girl Yes!!!   I feel Ya!!!

 

Sleigh Ride  (together) –  by: Johnny Mathis – How romantic is riding in a sleigh at Christmas time….xoxo

 

Happy Holidays by: Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme, “While the merry bells keep ringing…”may your every wish come true”.

 

All I want for Christmas (“Is You”)– by: Mariah Carey…okay, really all I want is a bottle of Wine!!!!!!LOL!!!!

 

Baby It’s Cold Outside by: Dean Martin & Martina McBride…This song is for the cozy ones, it’s so cold outside, The lady stop by for a visit and get caught in the snow storm, she trying to leave and the man is begging her to stay. ” Sit by the fire” “let me pour you a drink” hmmm… seems like he got some hanky panky on his mind 😂😄🤗.

 

The     by: St. Martin Orchestra… Instrumental, the sounds of horns, drums, violins, train whistles and trotting horses…I love it

You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch by:  Thurl Ravenscroft – This song is hilarious… “Three words that best describe you are as follow “Stink, Stank, Stunk” forgot another word “Skunk”… Ha Ha Ha….bah humbug!!!!

 

Let It Snow by: Boyz to Men – I love this song, although I dislike snow, okay let it snow on Christmas Day Only!!!!  OMG!!! here she comes again, Elsa…Get your patootie out of my post…LOL!!!!!

 

Jingle Bells by: Frank Sinatra…I love those “J-I-N-G-L-E Bells”, This song is so much fun to sing …try singing and spelling Jingle Bells (fast tempo) I bet you mess up ☺️😉.

 

 

Although there are plenty of Christmas songs I love, but those listed above are my favorite, So hop on over to iHeart radio  and choose your radio station for holiday music (93.9 FM).

Okay Sparklers, so remember on July 18th I was telling you about the new app Periscope, you don’t know what you’re missing, I’m so addicted to this Periscope.

Last night, I was behind the scene with the talented Jennifer Hudson at the Music Festival in Cincinnati Ohio, yes I felt like I was right there, so exciting.

Hello Everyone,

 

So I  just recently came upon a discovery of an APP from one of my Favorite Bloggers, shouts out to , so the new app, well,  its new to me, and it’s call PERISCOPE …. this is where you “Explore The World Through Someone Else’s Eyes” .                                                                                                  

                                                       How fascinating is that?

 

I know guys……  there are so many social media outlets      and apps     these days , and now I’ve learned of another good one but I don’t know what to think of it just yet, however, I decided to give it a try, and  if I don’t like it, I’ll just hit the  button  lol !!!! ….just that simple.

 

 

So yes, it’s very similar to snap chat  but, with Periscope  you have continuing live video streaming and you got people from all over the world ready to talk with you, and you have all these gorgeous hearts in different colors  popping up  (which represents applauds for the person, meaning you love what their video is about and what they’re speaking on), you also get to interact/chat with others, take people shopping with you, or while you out taking a walk or stopping at Starbucks for coffee, converse while your cooking, etc. Seems like a lot of fun and yes there are Celebrities you can interact with as well.

If I’m not mistaken , I believe it’s connected to Twitter so whomever you follow on Twitter you will be automatically connected to them on the Scope!!!!!

 

So, I join Periscope, two days ago, and I think I’m going to like it. I’m still trying to find my way around it though, I think it’s the next big thing among technology, so come join, I’m sure you’ll  like it. 🙂

A Letter To My Wobbly Bits

 

 

 

Today’s Blog posting is to write  A Letter To Your Wobbly Bits. 

Well let me start off by saying Hello to my BIG ARMS…….. OMG!!!, I really fight myself about my arms.

I’m always trying to cover them up some type of way, if you can remember, I posted about my arms back in April, speaking about how self conscious I am about my arms and how I am always trying to find a Blouse with sleeves to cover them up.

 

Well guess what, that stopped about  3 weeks ago, I was reading a blog  itsmisstiddlechubbyworld on tumblr. I was intrigued by her post,  she was speaking about freeing your arms, and she was joining a movement call #chubbyarmsbefree.

Then a few days later , Tess Holiday on the cover of PEOPLE magazine showing her beautiful arms (Tatted) up, #effyourbeautystandards

            you go TESS!!!!

So after reading itsmisstiddlechubbyworld post and  seeing Tess Holiday on People,  I asked myself  why do you hate your arms, that’s crazy, my arms are my arms,  I decided to join the #chubbyarmsbefree movement, to embrace my arms, to hug these BIG ARMS, yes I’m hugging and loving my BIG ARMS, I will stand proud…. BIG ARMS and all, and they (my BIG ARMS) will jiggle every time I clap, jump or run.

RUN, did I say RUN…….. yeah right, okay a girl can dream, can’t she….. 😉

                                                     Anyhoo

No more wobbly bits for me, I’m shouting #chubbyarmsbefree….No more wobbly bits for my BIG ARMS, I’m SHOUTING #chubbyarmsbefree!!!!!

 

Yes thanks to misstiddle who posted about the #chubbyarmsbefree movement,  I’m proud to say heres my oath: “I do solemnly swear to accept these arms that are attached to my body and to wear any Top/Blouse I love with NO SLEEVES.

Because it was taken two weeks after I had given birth to my Twin Daughters and I didn’t know what I was going to look like after 8 months and  19 days of carrying Two Babies in my Tummy….LBVS (Laughing But Very Serious)
